2023: Deny Tinubu Presidential Ticket And Face The Consequences — Lagos Governor’s Aide, Joe Igbokwe Sends Strong Warning To APC
One man that’s not backing down on his support for the presidential bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former Lagos Governor, is Joe Igbokwe.
Igbogwe, the special adviser on drainage and water resources to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday went ballistic, challenging the All Progressives Congress, APC to deny his Boss- Tinubu the presidential ticket and watch their candidate defeated before midday.
In his Facebook post, Igbokwe wrote:
“Let me challenge APC Nigeria: Field another candidate other than Asiwaju in 2023 and I can tell you without sounding immodest that the candidate would have been defeated by 11am.”
Earlier, the APC Chieftain cried out over what he called “Monumental betrayal” of the former Lagos State Governor, by those believed to be his political sons.
“Is this how we will pay Asiwaju for helping to lift us up?
“This monumental betrayal has no part 2. I’m totally diminished as a mortal who understand very well the meaning and the power of loyalty.”
In a different post via his Facebook account on Monday, the Nnewi-born politician and Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State advised Professor Osinbajo and other “political sons” of Tinubu to forget their ambition and support their boss.
