ASUU Strike: Senator Jarigbe Agom Gifts Cross River North UNICAL Lecturers ₦11.5million
Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, who represents Cross River North Senatorial District, has given a token of 11.5 million Naira to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, University of Calabar – Chapter, who are from the Cross River North Senatorial District.
Weetalknaija.com.ng learnt that the ASUU members have been without salaries for the past 5 months.
This was the lawmaker’s small way of thanking them for their unselfish devotion and contribution to the nation’s development, he explained.
