Ayade’s Appointees Grumble Over Non-Settlement, Laments

This is not the best of times for the administration of Governor Ben Ayade, whose tenure will be wining down soon, as scores of his political appointees are reportedly aggrieved over what they described as neglect on the part of Governor Ben AYADE.

Current findings confirms that some of the Cross River State political appointees utterly berated the Governor for not settling them till this moment, despite bringing so much to his Government.

In the same vein, they lament that the governor has only empowered his family members and close cronies.

It is believed by many of the appointees that ploy of food on the table is deliberate attempt by him to limit them financially and politically.

According to some of them, this is a satanic approach to political targeted not to make you grow so that you can always look up to Ayade as a source but he is not God they lament.

“This governor doesn’t mean well for us and it’s our collective pray that we don’t make this kind of mistake again, honestly Ayade is a one chance bus.” They lamented.

The recent outburst has become more worrisome, following the recent outburst of Michael Abuo, during which he faulted the Governor’s rewarding system.

Accordingly, Mike Abuo, in one of the WhatsApp group platforms called “AYADEISM”, indicated that the Governor’s rewarding style is lopsided and has mainly favoured close allies, family and friends. He mentioned some names which include; Dr Beta EDU, Asibong INYANG, Christian ita, Egbelo, and Achilles AKUKU, stating that there are other political appointees who have displayed unmatchable commitment and loyalty, but have not been rewarded accordingly with the present administration on the verge of winding up. This stirred the Governor, who expressed his disappointment on ABUO’s ardent exhibition on the platforms, leading to the sudden exiting of the group by the aforementioned DG.

Relatedly, the above is an affirmation that all is not well with the present state government, given that most appointees share similar sentiments to vent their displeasures with the system in due course. This also goes to show the level of bottled up anger in the system, which was apparently reflected in the just concluded bye-elections in the state.

The level of grievances is not farfetched from the betrayal and sabotage demonstrated by political appointees, whom were reported to have allegedly made away with the funds availed them for the bye-elections.

In addition, security aides and domestic staff of Governor AYADE are also aggrieved that he is yet to empower them, despite serving him wholeheartedly for more than 7yrs.
