Massive Recruitment at the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC)

An Appeal Court sitting in Kaduna on Friday has sacked an All Progressives Congress federal lawmaker Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of House of Representatives representing Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency.
The judge, Justice Ajoke Adepoju, ruled that the pronouncement of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Jibrin stands nullity.
Justice Adepoju said the result declared by INEC was mutilated which however presumed that the actual result was a hearsay. She therefore ordered for fresh election in 60 days.
Aliyu Datti Yako of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is challenged the victory of Jibrin, a third time member of the of house of representatives.
The national assembly election petition tribunal led by Justice Nayai Aganaba on September 12, affirmed INEC declaration of Jibrin as winner of Bebeji/Kiru Federal constituency in the February 27, 2019 election.
Justice Aganaba held that the petition filed by the PDP candidate failed to substantiate allegation of multiple voting and violence among claims leveled against INEC, APC and Jibrin.
