BREAKING!! Gunmen Storm Another School This Morning, Kidnap 300 Female Students

 

A Daily Trust report indicates that some students from Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara local government area of Zamfara state, have been abducted by alleged gunmen.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, February 26, Weetalknaija.com.ng reported.
Daily Confidence was told by a resident of the Kawaye village known as Sadi Kawaye that his daughters, Mansura and Sakina, were among those kidnapped.
Now I’m going to Jangebe to see the situation on my own. I was told that the school was invaded about 1am,’ he told our reporter over the phone.

SP Muhammad Shehu, Police Public Relations Officer in Zamfara, said he was unable to respond when contacted.

“He said, “Give me some time, I can’t say anything now.

It was the fourth such major kidnapping in Northwest Nigeria by terrorists, beginning with the kidnapping of more than 300 students from the Katsina state government college in Kankara.
The most recent abduction at the girls’ school in Jangebe, Talatu Mafara LGA, occurred around 2 a.m. today.

The gunmen entered the school and dragged the kids away.

Vigilantes exchanged bullets with the terrorists and are said to be on their heels to save the schoolgirls, P.M.News sources said.
