BREAKING!! Jubilation In Military Camp As Nigerian Soldiers Finally Kill Boko Haram Leader

It was a sad thing when the infamous commanders, Abul-Bas and Ibn Habib, were killed in the Boko Haram camp.

In an action at Banki Junction Road around the Pulka Axis in Borno State, troops took them out.

Abul-Bas and Ibn Habib belonged to Boko Haram’s Shekau group, with bases in and around the Sambisa forest.

For months, the pair and many other top terrorists have been on the watchlist of intelligence agencies.

News of their murder comes two weeks after the same fate happened to Ali Bor and Maleum Modu.

Their bodyguards and other fighters were annihilated by Abul-Bas and Ibn Habib in an ambush at a site between the settlements of Vuria and Guja.

A military intelligence officer revealed that soldiers had seized one GPMG, several AK-47 rifles, a 7.62 mm round ammunition belt, motorcycles and cell phones.

Psychologically, the officer said, the death of Abul-Bas and Ibn Habib inflicted a great blow on the Boko Haram sect.

In the ongoing Operation Tura Takai Bango, this further improved the overall fighting spirit and morale of the troops.

The unit consists of a lightweight 121 Battalion ambush team and elements of the 151 Battalion, identified as the Gaddafi Group,” he told PRNigeria on Saturday.”

Project Tura Takai Bango, the first major military offensive in 2021, is aimed at degrading terrorist activities in the Northeast.

On behalf of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 7 Division, Maj. Gen. Abdul Khalifa, hailed the Army Commanders in the Theatre.

Khalifa accused them of intensifying their violent clearing operations in order to clear the Sambisa forest and other targets of terrorist remnants and their collaborators.
