The Government of Kenya has abolished car grants and sitting allowances for Members of Parliament, Weetalknaija.com.ng gathered.
According to a tweet from @DanielLutaaya, obtained by www.weetalknaija.com.ng report Kenya has abolished car grants and sitting allowances for Members of Parliament.

He said:
“Kenya has abolished car grants and sitting allowances for Members of Parliament. The incoming Mps will now have to buy their own cars, if they want. By this action alone, the government of Kenya has saved ugx 163 Billion of tax payer’s money”.
In another tweets posted by the @Africa Facts Zone, said Kenya government has stopped giving lawmakers sitting allowances and car grants.
He said:
“Kenya has stopped giving Lawmakers sitting allowances and car grants. Members of Parliament will now have to buy their own cars if they want. Kenya will save $8.4 million yearly by doing this”.
