The departed was not only a great Nigerian who, through his previous diverse beats of service
and, most importantly, the last one, made indelible marks on our national canvas.

He was indubitably a committed patriot who made great personal exertions for the good of Nigeria. He did his best for our country, particularly in the last five years that he served your Excellency very
dutifully and loyally as Chief of Staff.

While committing his soul to God to grant repose, we also
pray that your Excellency will find the essential fortitude to bear this great loss and that his
family and all the loved ones he left behind will be comforted.

It is also our prayer that God will help our nation to win this war that is being waged against all
humanity by an invisible common enemy.

May the merciful God also see us through this
disconcerting period of global health crisis which, no doubt, will in its aftermath, bring about
multidimensional social and economic global disorders requiring resolution through visionary
leadership, great initiatives and patriotic zeal. May the Almighty God continue to uphold, guide
and strengthen you.

Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of our high regards and the very best wishes.
Yours sincerely,
Prof. Tunde Adeniran OFR.
National Chairman,
Social Democratic Party (SDP)
