BREAKING!! Panic As Nigeria Records 2,000 New COVID-19 Cases, Highest Single-Day Record

 

With almost 2,000 new cases on Friday, Nigeria has reached a new milestone for its daily coronavirus infection count.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) update for January 15, 2021, a total of 1,867 new cases were confirmed in 23 states and the federal capital territory.
The new figure is the highest number of new positive samples reported within a 24-hour span in the country.

The highest number before Friday was 1,664 new cases registered on January 6, with the total number of infections at 94,369 as of this date.
