BREAKING!! Tension In Imo As Nigerian Soldiers Take Over Orlu In Search of Nnamdi Kanu’s Eastern Security Network, Residents Desert Homes

Residents of Imo State’s Orlu council area have reportedly fled their homes as the military continues a search for the Eastern Security Network camps (ESN).

The involvement of the military has been found to have crippled economic activities in the region.

Akaolisa revealed that on the pretext of searching for Fulani herdsmen, the government received an intelligent report of IPOB leading assaults on Orlu citizens, as well as the government.

“He said, “By killing over 10 police officers and two influential sons of Orlu, Ignatius Obiezu and Emmanuel Okeke, the ESN members took the laws into their own hands and gathered their Hilux vehicles.

We have learnt that Nnamdi Kanu is celebrating his men’s activities in Orlu, but that is entirely false.

We’re not going to fold our arms and watch the boys send us packing in our own state. That’s why we sent the army to restore law and order in these regions.

It was collected from a source that among the residents, the military surveillance helicopter that hovered daily in Orlu and neighboring LGAs had caused further panic.

The source agreed in Orsuihitteukwa, a neighboring village in Orsu LGA, that the soldiers were not dangerous, but expressed concern about the heavy ammunition in their possession and helicopters circling over their homes.

In addition, the source said, “The presence of the military has truly, to a large extent, calmed the situation.” But I urge the zone leaders to tackle the security insecurity in our zone. This is not good for the growth and development of Nigeria’s largest Senate Region.
