BREAKING!!! Unknown Gunmen Kidnap House of Assembly Speaker, Others
Lawman Duruji, a former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, has reportedly been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Duruji was reportedly kidnapped on his way back from a function on Saturday in Oriagu, Ehime Mbano Local Government Area.
Ezzybee, a well-known businessman in Owerri, was kidnapped alongside the politician. On his way to watch a local football match on Sunday afternoon, the business tycoon was kidnapped.
On Sunday, the wife of Frank Onwunere, a former chairman of the Okigwe Local Government Area, was kidnapped.
Other unidentified citizens of the state were kidnapped at Okwelle junction in the state’s Onuimo LGA, as well as Umbomiri junction in the Mbaitoli and Amaraku LGAs of the state.
Micheal Abattam, the spokesperson for the Enugu Police Command, said the police were already on the trail of the kidnappers, revealing that one of the victims at Ubomiri had been rescued
