Bricklayer Beats Up Carpenter During Argument Over Prophet TB Joshua

According to the Bricklayer, “I would not sit and tolerate any disparaging discourse about the late Prophet.”

During a disagreement over Prophet Temitope Balogun (TB) Joshua, the founder of Synagogue Church Of All Nations, two artisans in Lagos clashed blows (SCOAN).

The clergyman, who was born on June 12, 1963, in Ondo, died on June 5, 2021. On July 9, he was laid to rest.

Weetalknaija learned from the Daily Post that a carpenter and a bricklayer fought over the late cleric on Saturday.

The event happened near the North-West Petrol Station near Victoria Garden City (VGC) on the Lekki-Ajah road, according to a witness.

Around 1 p.m., he said, the carpenter became involved in a discussion concerning the SCOAN founder.

“We were drinking and joking about when someone mentioned TB Joshua’s death. The carpenter made some horrible remarks. Joshua, he alleged, employed demonic means,” the informant said in Yoruba.

“However, the bricklayer told him not to use the word ‘rubbish.’ He stated that he would not sit and listen to any disparaging remarks about the late Prophet.

“The man claimed that it was after he began attending Synagogue Church that he constructed a house and purchased a car in Igando.

“The other gentleman was adamant that TB Joshua was not a true man of God. They began fighting as the argument progressed. The carpenter was injured by the bricklayer, and it was bloody.”

The quarrel that grabbed the notice of passers-by aroused the attention of police officers in the vicinity.

TB Joshua was a divisive figure in his lifetime. In death, he is much more divisive, with various views concerning his spiritual strength.

Since his death, an increasing number of Nigerians have paid tribute to him, claiming that there are many other clerics who cannot be compared to him.

TB Joshua continues to be praised for his lectures’ simplicity, generosity, and humility.
