WeetalknaijaBlog, understands that the crisis erupt after one Adeh, a 15-year-old boy was allegedly beaten to death by some members of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Obudu chapter.
WeetalknaijaBlog gathered that, the decease whose father is a transporter in the state, handed his 15 years old son to the cult-gang that pretense to be members of the NYCN for interrogation over the missing sum of money in his local saving at home N10,000.00 about 20 euros.
Little did he knows that he was passing a death sentence on his own son by giving him out to his rivals, as they are all members of different cult fraternities. The boy was handle as an enemy on their trap, so they got him beaten to death by the so called NYCN members.
The Local Government Council Chairman, Mr. Boniface Eraye Ewhe, has lock-down every activities in Obudu as all links leading inn and Out of the town remain block by the security men.



This actions has brought a revenge battle by the two rivals as the destruction of lives and properties continue in the area.
Main while the Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Mr. Boniface Ewhe, has called on the state Security Adviser to the state governor to involve the governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, into the security arrangement for a quick intervention to the matter.



The Council Chairman Mr. Ewhe, have said that if the police in the Obudu Divisional Police Headquarters could not combat the situation, he has no other choices than to negotiate for the deployment of military men from the Brigadier Godwin Ally’s Military Barracks in Ogoja, about 60 kilometers away from Obudu.
He call on all the Youths Leaders in the ten political Wards of Obudu to be law abiding and educate their down liners to embrace peace in the society to which we are doing our best in Prof. Ben Ayade’s government to ensure the well-being of every Youth in Cross River State of Nigeria.
