BREAKING CREATIVE INDUSTRY NEWS

REST IN PEACE MAD MELON

Eternity is reality; hit maker of the DANFO DRIVERS duo has left for eternity.

I recall that in 2007 when the duo of Mountain Black and Mad Melon popularly known as DANFO DRIVERS were signed on by D and I music a befitting accommodation was provided at Magodo estate somewhere in Ketu on the Lagos mainland but Mad Melon who was until his death, madly in love with the street insisted that he couldn’t leave Ajegunle where he grew up and made it from.

Mountain Black, with whom I lived as at the time tried to convince you but you resisted, at a point you were outraged and that brought about a serious argument and the rest today is history.

The Creative Industry has lost one of its best I must say. Our prayers in Cross River State Chapter of the Creative Industry Group CIG is that your maker forgives your sins so that your soul can rest with HIM. Mad Melon died in the early hours of Thursday 26th September 2019 at a health facility in Lagos after a brief ailment.

May GOD ALMIGHTY give us all the ability to bear the irreplaceable loss AMEN.
