Cross River ex-Information Commissioner gets CCN award

Former Information & Orientation Commissioner, Mrs. RoseMary Archibong was, at the Christian Council of Nigeria’s 12th Annual Workers Seminar and Inter-denominational Thanksgiving Service, presented with an award of excellence in recognition of her contribution and role in kingdom building, held recently at Holy Trinity Anglican Communion, Calabar Diocese, Calabar.

Presenting the Award, the out-going Chairman of Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) and Bishop of Anglican Communion, Calabar Diocese, Most Rev. Tunde Adeleye said: “the award was in recognition of her role in building and handing over of Chapel of the Upper Room, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital of the Christian Council of Nigeria, Cross River State Chapter.”

The Clergyman thanked Mrs. Archibong for raising God’s alter during her time as Director Administration and Secretary to Board, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, and also encouraged her to continue with her good work of expanding God’s kingdom on earth.

Receiving the award, Mrs. Archibong, who was represented by her son, William Archibong, expressed gratitude to CCN for the award, saying it will spur her in furthering the expansion of God’s kingdom and spreading of the gospel in the State and beyond.

Archibong, who dwelt on the need for the expansion of the body of Christ, called on Christians to remain relentless in accordance to Christ’s injunction of winning souls for God’s kingdom.

The event also featured inauguration of the new executives of CCN – Cross River Chapter; which will be led by Rev. (Dr.) T. J. Caifas of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Calabar; while the Women Wing is led by Mrs. Victoria Eyo.
