Cross River Government Unveils First Harvest of Cocoa Model Farm In Calabar Municipal
The Cross River State Government has cut the tape unveiling the first harvest of organic Cocoa farm Located at Cross River State broadcasting Cooperation (CRBC) Calabar.
The harvest process was supervise by the workaholic Senior special Assistant to the Governor on public works Comrade Julius Obanghe kijuo. According to kijuo, the State Governor Sen prof. Ben Ayade has kept to promise in improving the agro sector, “what we are seeing here today is the fulfillment of the philosophy possibilities by Sen Ben Ayade” kijuo stated.
He futher call on Youth of the southern senatorial district of Cross River State to take advantage of this discovery in utilizing their land in Cocoa production.And that no Youth should rely in the past philosophy where people believe Cocoa can only grow in Boki,Ikom, Etung and Akampka.
He finally appreciate Dr. Oscar Ofuka the special Adviser to the Governor who has shown so much capacity in developing the Cocoa sector in the entire Cross River State as he has done excellently in the CRBC Cocoa farm history.
The unveiling ceremony was done by the Honourable Commissioner for information Mr. Asu Okang onbehalf of the State Government. The Commissioner took his turn to appreciate the Governor of Cross River State who has done this possible in keeping to promise. He call on The people of the southern senatorial district of Cross River State to invest in the farming of Cocoa.
Dr. Osca use the opportunity to thank His Excellency Sen Prof Ben Ayade for the opportunity given to him. And promised to continue giving his best in the development of Cocoa.
