Deputy Senate President, Amaechi, Oshiomole, Ayade, Others Endorses Betta Edu As APC Women Leader

Dr Betta Edu has been endorsed by the South-South representatives to contest for the position of women leader in the forthcoming national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The endorsement was confirmed in a ‘unity list’ seen by WEE TALK NAIJA and jointly signed by the governor of Cross River state, Ben Ayade, the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Ageg, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Former APC chairman, Adams Oshiomole and other key stakeholders of the party.
When she began her women leader bid, she was confronted with the tweets she made as a member of the opposition. Ms Edu walked back on her statements, declaring ‘total and complete loyalty’ to the Buhari regime.
