Do You Know This Pregnant Woman Who Died In A Bus In Onitsha?
This sad tale is told by Joseph, a gifted narrator.
After my brother dropped me off at the park, I boarded a Transit from Awka.
When they arrived at Okwuzu Junction, this woman began crying that her air was broken.
We came to a halt, she was taken down, but we couldn’t leave her there, so the driver and I, along with a few good people, returned her, despite her enormous height.
Her most recent remark was that she was heading to Tarzan, Onitsha.
I prayed, she remained silent, I hugged her head, her heart was racing, and her eyes were losing their vitality.
I came to a halt; her vital pulse had stopped, and there was no longer any life in her. SHE WAS NO LONGER WITH US.
She is without identification. Her lylon bag was all she had, no phone, no nothing.
We are at the Ogini police station in Onitsha, and we will share her photos before we can find someone who can recognise her….
In the hands of our Creator, we are nothing more than a pencil…
