A political analyst and a staunch card carrier of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Comrade Zubairu Suleiman have warned that any further unwarranted attacks on the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, and National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be met with strong reactions.

Suleiman said if Oshiomhole do not stop the attacks on Obaseki forthwith, he should be ready to face his wrath.

In a statement made available to Weetalknaija Daily in a media chat on Friday by Suleiman said: “Any further attack on the Governor will be on the people of the State.
“These primitive attacks which are borne out of hatred and sheer ignorance have continued unabated, both from Adams Oshiomhole and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu both of the APC.
“We wish to warn the duo that henceforth any attack on Governor Godwin Obaseki is an attack on the people of Edo State”.

Suleiman noted with dismay the “unending personal attack” on Obaseki over his decision to govern the State without any interference from the APC national Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

He said: “I respect him as our leader, but if he (Oshiomhole) doesn’t want the respect anymore, I will ensure I joint hands with other top youths in the state to retrieve the respect”.
