Eid- El- Fitr : Again, Muslim Faithfuls Urged To Adhere To Stay At Home Order

Muslims in Cross River State have been reminded of the need to stay at home and observe their Eid-el- Fitr prayers with their family and loved ones inline with the directive of the state government and that of the Sultan of Sokoto and President,Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs.

The directive was part of measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus Pandemic in the state.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Muslim Affairs,Alh Hassan Tanimu gave the reminder in a press release issued on Saturday to felicitates with the entire Ummah and friends of Muslim Community in the State.

Hassan said the supplications of the ummah during the thirty days fast for the State and the Governor and his family will help in moving the state to the greater level.

He reminded the faithfuls of the need to always use their face masks,hand sanitizer, personal heigene and social distancing to guarantee their safety and good health.

“The pray at home directive is for our health and safety of our dear State, I urge all of you to stay at home and pray for our dear State and the First Family.

“Let me use this opportunity to register the commendations of Muslim community in Cross River State on the effort of His Excellency ‘s fight against Covid-19 disease which the NCDC recently declared as the best in the country”he said.
