Group Declares Senator Gershom Bassey as Cross River State Chief Empowerment Officer

 

 

During their end-of-year Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Calabar, Senator Gershom Bassey (CR South) was named Chief Empowerment Officer of the state by the ACTIONGOAL Advocacy party.

In his opening address, Barrister Itam Edet Nsa said the party was always committed to accountability, corporate governance and even the allocation of democratic dividends.

He added that Senator Gershom Bassey has always been committed to the effectiveness of governance with a positive impact on the masses over time.

He reiterated the group’s dedication to any target set by Senator Gershom Bassey. Rt. Rt. Hon. Hon! For their time and vision, Victor Eyo Ema thanked the community.

He thanked the Senator for his relentless, non-stop empowerment and also committed to the group’s commitment to rally behind the Senator, who is the epitome of optimism and good governance and the symbol of the politically abandoned fight.

There were speeches made by Hon. Hon. Francis Asuquo, Etim Okon, Joseph Bella Effiom, Comrade Francis Massaro, Yellow-Duke Comrade Eyo Eyo, Hon. The Duke of Florence, HH Mesembe Asikpo, Hon. As the Chief Empowerment Officer of the state, Adim Orok Ita and others also made speeches confirming him.

Senator Gershom Bassey, who spoke via his Director General,Barr, replied. Asukwo Ekpo Ada thanked the party for their vision and devotion to people’s enlightenment and open and corporate governance predictions, and sued that the Senator will do more to cover the grounds and touch his people as well.

He said he is not ignorant of most Cross Riverians’ misery and penury situation, but he will create means and ways to boost severe circumstances and palliatives that will cushion their status through his People’s focused initiatives. As the atmosphere was charged with a spirit of camaraderie, prizes and gifts were shared.
