As many as six lecturers have been reportedly kidnapped and regarded one in all killed in an Osun neighborhood after gunmen stormed the realm.
According to a report by Daily Trust, 5 staff of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke have been kidnapped by some kidnappers and regarded one in all them was killed by their abductors on the spot.
A staff of the College who confirmed the incident, acknowledged one in all many policemen that attempted to rescue the college staff was shot by the abductors sooner than they took the college staffs away.
He acknowledged: “There was an attack on Esa-Oke Road in the evening on Tuesday. Some staff members of Osun State College of Technology were abducted and they are still being held in the bush by the kidnappers.”
According to him,
“those kidnapped are Mr Olaleye Olalekan (Bus. Admin. Department); Adeyeoluwa Bankole (HOD Civil Engineering); Dr Jesuola Ajibola (Director Ventures); Adenreti Chukwu (Secretary to Civil Engineering Department); Olaniyi Emmanuel Temitope (Registry staff member and Rachael Onyinocha Akinboboye, (OSCOTECH Microfinance Bank)”.
The Commissioner of Police throughout the state, Mr Fimihan Adeoye in a telephone dialog with Daily Trust confirmed the assault.
The police chief acknowledged his males had been on the trail of the abductors and that your complete area had been condoned off so that the abductors would not escape.
CP Adeoye confirmed the dying of one in all many College staff and that four others had been in captive.
