At Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria, Kaduna State, a lecturer and two children of a member of the staff were reportedly kidnapped on Saturday.
According to the Secretary, Information and Protocol Unit of the polytechnic, Mr Abdullahi Shehu said the victims were abducted from their various homes in the school environment.
He added that the father of the two children was injured while they were trying to forcefully take away the children and he is presently in the clinic receiving treatment.
According to the spokesman for the security agency at Kaduna State Police Command, the situation is under control and they are making every move to rescue the victims.
It was gathered that the lecturer that was kidnapped leactures at the School of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics of the polytechnic.
