Benin has accused Igboho, who was arrested with his wife on their way to Germany on Monday night at Cardinal Bernardin International Airport in Cotonou.

Meanwhile, in a live update on early Thursday, Igboho’s spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki, expressed confidence that the trial will go in his principal’s favor.
