“I can say without hesitation that, although Nigeria faces security challenges, the situation is much better than what we encountered in 2015,” he said.

He explained how regular bombings were experienced by members of Boko Haram in around 12 states, including Abuja, before the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari began.

He also said that, for the better, the situation has changed.

He said, “There’s no doubt that we’re much better than what it was like,”

Governor Wike, however, responding to Lai Mohammed’s statement on Channel TV Sunday, described the Minister as a liar who is only good at concealing the reality that he said the former is well aware of.
