I Only Told Witch Doctor To Tie My Husband Spiritually To Milk Him Dry — Nigerian Woman Makes Shocking Confession

A 15-year-old marriage between a mother of two, Olubunmi Faseyitan, and her husband, Kolawole, over suspicion of “witchcraft” was dissolved by a Customary Court sitting in Mapo in Ibadan on Thursday.

Chief Ademola Odunade, president of the court, dissolved the marriage after Faseyitan confessed that she had asked a witch doctor “to tie her husband spiritually to dry him up.”

Odunade, Delivering Judgment, said: “Before forging ahead, men and women intending to get married should seek the approval of God in their relationship.” He said, in the name of unity, he had disbanded the union.

The judge awarded Faseyitan custody of the two girls. The arbitrator ordered Kolawole to pay N6,000 per month for the care of the baby.

Faseyitan said earlier: ‘I never wished my husband to die. Everything I wanted was to keep him in bondage until he fulfilled his intent, and to make him sick. I was just asking the witch doctor to persuade people that his second wife was responsible for the calamity that had befallen him.

Earlier, Kolawole, a factory worker, on the grounds that his wife was into black magic, prayed for the breakdown of his 15-year-old marriage. In order to satisfy her, I did everything possible. But it hasn’t been enough.
