Industrialization Drive: Ayade Is A Genius- Tutu Ekeng

Enthused by the industrialization of Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, Barrister Rosemary Tutu Ekeng, Director General of the Cross River State Investment Promotions Bureau, noted that with the speed of industrialization and general infrastructural growth of the Ayade administration, there are countless opportunities for involvement for Cross River youth.

Speaking to journalists in Calabar, Ekeng noted that Governor Ben Ayade attracted investors with substantial investments in the state within six years, adding that the state economy has been affected and many young people are directly and indirectly working.

She explicitly commended the Governor for the many industries placed in place by listing the various industries engineered by the administration led by Governor Ben Ayade.

Words of her:-
“Looking at it analytically, scientifically and critically, I would say it anywhere that Governor Ben Ayade is hundred percent good despite the criticisms. Let me clarify what I meant”

You can’t start a business and expect it to break even in the next three years. I’m talking about buying and selling. To achieve success overnight takes at least ten years. Today, for example, we can boldly say that Linda Ikeji, who is the richest blogger, didn’t just get rich overnight. I think the government needs to understand and offer an opportunity to people.

“She continued: “These investments aren’t stuff you’d love instantly, but you’d know the value of all these things over time. When you plant a seed, do you expect it to grow the next day? I keep asking people these questions. I’m no sycophant here.

She was saying:—
“I’m a lawyer, I give my submission objectively without taking bias. These things that Governor Ben Ayade has done are things that we all benefit from ten years from now”

Highlighting some of her accomplishments, DG Ekeng noted that some of her office achievements during the COVID-19 Lockdown in 2020 were the inauguration of the Cross River Ease of Doing Business Council (CREDBC), the establishment of the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) for investment, the launch of the Bureau and the magazine website.

She acknowledged that the governor maintained confidence in his campaign promises, which concentrated on industrialization, adding that the state would have plenty more to celebrate by the end of the remaining three years.

She noted that to encourage him to accomplish more, the Governor deserves gratitude through the help of Cross Riverians.

Therefore, Rosemary Tutu Ekeng urged Cross Riverians to be constructive in their criticism of not discouraging investors and improving the completion agenda.
