INEC Declares APC Winner of Ogoja/Yala Reps Bye-Election, Amid Vote-Buying, Security Threats Allegations
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Jude Ngaji of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner of the Ogoja/Yala federal constituency bye-election.
Ngaji polled 22,778 votes, edging out Mike Usibe of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who received 20,590 votes.
The election was trailed by the alleged involvement of some APC party agents in sharing money, in some units within the constituency.
