INEC Declares Bala Mohammed Winner of Bauchi Gov’ship Election

The Bauchi state gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Bala Mohammed has gained the governorship election within the State.
Mohammed defeated incumbent Governor Muhammed Abubakar of the All Progressive Congress, (APC.
The pending results of Tafawa Balewa was regenerated, collated and introduced on the INEC headquarters on Monday night time.
Announcing the outcome, the brand new collation officer of Tafawa Balewa Local authorities space, Dr Musa Dahiru of the Federal University Kashere, mentioned that PDP polled 39,225 votes as towards 30, 055 votes scored by the All Progressive Congress, APC and incumbent Governor Muhammed Abubakar.
Total registered voters at Tafawa Balewa LGA was 139,240 accredited voters 74,181, whole votes forged was 73,779, whole legitimate votes, 73041, rejected votes 738
Mohammed polled a complete of 515,113 votes whereas the APC polled 500,625.
The Returning officer Professor Kyari Mohammed introduced the winner and returned the previous FCT Minister Bala Muhammed as new Governor of Bauchi State.
