JUST IN!! Tension Rise As Northern Group Orders Igbo To leave Nigeria Immediately, Says They Can No Longer Live With Them

The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has stated that the North is fed up with living in the same country as the Southeastern section of Nigeria.

According to the organization, Gulak’s assassination was part of a Southern plot to repeat the events that led to the civil war, and so coexistence with them is no longer possible.

The ongoing insecurity in the southeast, notably the removal of Northerners in the region, is supported by Igbo society both at home and in the Diaspora, according to CNG spokesman Abdul- Azeez Suleiman.

“Every component of the Igbo society at home and in the Diaspora funds, completely supports, and emboldens violent rascality by the IPOB, the ESN, and other assortments of armed Igbo gangs,” he stated.

” Expecting other sections of the country, particularly the North, to coexist as one country with the Igbo as federating partners is an insult to our collective sensitivities and common principles of decency, according to the CNG.”

“The coordinated incessant attacks on police formations in Imo, Ebonyi, Aba, Ibadan, Enugu, Anambra, and most recently the police headquarters in Kwara, as well as Sunday’s cold-blooded assassination of Ahmed Gulak, a prominent northern leader, are part of a wider plan by the Igbo to replicate the ugly events of 1966,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has given the governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, an ultimatum to reveal Gulak’s killers or face retaliation from the organization.

“Let us announce unequivocally that northern youths would do everything possible to press the government of Imo State to bring the culprits of this crime to justice,” the statement adds. The governor of Imo State and other governors in the southeast should be aware that we will not tolerate the continuous murdering of Northerners and Northern elites in their region, and that we will retaliate.
