Lagos Base Media Personality Visits Calabar Electrification Agency DG

Episode 3:‎
My first feature in today’s 20 Cross Riverians under 40 to watch out for in 2019 and beyond series is:

Stanley Nsemo:
He’s the young, vibrant MD of the Cross River state signage and advertisement agency. I’ve not met him in person before but I know he’s a good son of his Dad. I grew up as a catholic in Calabar and I clearly remember his dad was one of the main financiers of the church; a very humble man who made generous donations and always preferred to stay anonymous. I’m not talking about a small parish oh, I’m talking about St Charle’s Lwanga in Essien town which had heavyweights and papal knights like the former deputy governor, Cecelia Ekpeyong(of blessed memory). Little wonder his boy has grown up and is doing exploits at a youthful age. Truth about life is, someone has to pay the price for success and financing the church is one sure way of clearing that path. Even in a non-religious country like England, I’ve heard of scenarios where millionaire atheists willed the bulk of their wealth to the church. Sorry for ‘digressing’, I was trying to make a point. Ok, like I was saying, Nsemo is not the kind of Calabar boy who poses like Alexander the great with a chilled bottle of Gulder in one hand and a peppered-roast turkey in the other and screams “Hop da! Adi amkpo!”(Choi, I have eaten-this is the life!),he’s a cerebral young man with loads of exposure who has so much more to offer Cross River and Nigeria. My ‘spies’ in Cally town have told me he’s doing a wonderful job as boss of the signage agency even with the little subventions coming in from the state’s coffers. His main focus has been to come up with innovative measures to shore up Cross River’s IGR.
