The member representing Obubra/Etung federal constituency and the deputy chairman, house committee on Pension, Hon Mike Etaba has appreciated his constituents for the overwhelming support in the last four years.
Etaba who informed Weetalknaija Blog in the early hours of today via WhatsApp chat, said today marks his “last sitting” in his first term in office, to officially begin another four years from Tuesday 11th June, 2019.
“The journey to be a representative has not been easy, even when we were faced with difficulties challenges, we never got discouraged, the funniest part of the story is that, none of your constituents will actually understand what we as representatives are going through”.
“The only thing that has kept us going, even when the journey became tougher, is God Almighty alone, at some point, some constituents will even want to call you unnecessary names, try to drag your reputation to the mud, but we had no option than to attend to their challenges one after the other, because we represent them”.
