Leboku 2020: Dan Obo Crowned Obol Bendem 1 of Yakurr Youth (Photos)

The State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigerian, (NYCN), Cross River State Chapter, His Youthfulness, Comrade Dan Obo has been crowned the new Obol Bendem 1 of Yakurr Youth at the occasion of Leboku International Festival 2020, a revered youth in South-South Nigeria.

For the record, Dan Obo is one of the most influential youths, not just in Cross River State but the entire South-South, Nigeria.

Dan Obo who is known for exemplary leadership, told Weetalknaija Daily Post that, he feels delighted to be coronated as the new Obol Bendem 1 of Yakurr Youth.

Continuing, Obo expressed his profound gratitude to the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams, thanked Obol Ubi Ubana the Obol Lopon of Ugep and Paramount ruler of Yakurr for his exemplary leadership and his quest to reposition the Yakurr Nation.

He thanked the Youths of Yakurr Nation for finding him worthy enough to be coronated Obol Bendem 1 of Yakurr Youth. He urged the youth to eschew from all form of social vices, such as cultism, rape, drug abuse, etc.

He further called on the Yakurr Community to unite and encourage young leaders to emerge to reposition the Yakurr Nation and Cross River State.

Dan Obo who he is a peace builder, says he will continue to preach peace.

He reiterated his commitment to peace and unity, adding that he stand for “forthrightness”.

“I just want to lead by example, do things right and foster unity,” he said.
