Linda Oyira joins Obubra chairmanship race
Barely 48 hours after a heated disagreement on who takes over the mantle of leadership as the legitimate Chairman of Obubra LGA, Linda Oyira from Ofumbomgha/Yala council ward decided to break the jinx by joining the Chairmanship election under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).
Linda made the declaration following purported agitation of what is describe as gender discrimination, according to the aggrieved agitators, women should also be allow to participate in the electioneering process in the LGA.
