By Comrade. Paschal Nyiam
Coming back from an adventure proven abortive out of greed, craftiness, selfishness, and yearn for wealth/material things than a good name and service to humanity.
Yesterday, was actually a day to remember in my Union experience.
Nowadays, Students unionism has been turned to-be a sippy, wealth and fame acquisition arena for our young leaders.
Thanks to God for his miracle and mercies on the lives of students as none lost his/her life in Yakurr LGA of CRS as the students union leaders and stakeholders of Central Senatorial Students Assembly worldwide (CENSA WW), went to conduct and bring forth a new administration to pilot the affairs of the highest Student’s Union body in Central Senatorial District of the State led by one Enang, Emmanuel Obeten dissolved/step-aside.
From afar i can attest the love and care and attention Ntufam.Dr. Sandy Ojang Onor has for students and the trust he can have for the leaders of the various bodies.
But, this efforts by our senator elect was proven abortive and his dear name almost dragged to the mud by the selfish and crafty Enang, Emmanuel Obeten who after the senator elect released some funds whooping to about Three hundred thousand naira only (300k) stood his ground that no funds were released if not for calls made by some of us to confirm from the DG caterpillar that a proposal of about four hundred and fifty thousand naira only, (450k) was sent and some monies sent to accounts accompanied.
Elections were interrupted by cults groups hired by the said Emmanuel Obeten and shooting sparodically scaring eligible voters and comrades away all to send a good signal to his boss (Dr. Sandy Onor) of his results of delivering i.e establishing a Union leader loyal to the PDP administration.
The outcome of the said elections remain inconclusive as even the presence of the Civil Defense couldn’t scare the Cultist away.
I am Venerable, Comrade Paschal Nyiam i stands for truth and equity, trusts, selflessness and delivery.
We at the highest level of the Union stands to correct the mistakes done by the predecessors.
Students activities should be left for students and Agboro be left for touts my opinion and advice.
It’s on that note, all The worldwide leaders of various LGA’s and presidents of various chapters are enjoined for a meeting on Monday,20th May. Time and venue remains spirited for safety sake and reasons and would be communicated to persons involved in regard to dissolving the Eleco body and forming a credible and accountable one to conduct a free, fair hitchfree and magnificent elections.
