The Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency representative and the Chairman House of Representatives Committee on “Legislative, Budget and Research, Rt. Hon. Mike Etaba on Monday congratulated Professor Zana Akpagu, the Vice Chancellor of University of Calabar on the occasion of his 60th birthday

Etaba in a statement in Abuja by his Media Team, commended the contributions of Akpagu in uplifting the educational standards of the institution

He said it was significant that in spite of the challenges confronting the nation’s educational sector which saw to the backdrop of many institutions, University of Calabar has continued to rise to enviable height.

”This has demonstrated your ability to deploy your administrative and professional acumen to navigate a difficult task, even with low federal government allocations approved to educational sector, yet your achievements and administrative style is worth emulating. The message read: “Your life has been a life of great service to our dear State and the nation at large.
