Gershom Bassey Takes Distribution of Tricycles To Bakassi LGA and Other Groups, Promises More Empowerment
As his human capacity building project, distinguished Senator Gershom Bassey, Senator representing the Cross River Southern Senate District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Emergency Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), splashes millions of naira on constituents by sharing tricycles (KEKE NAPEP).
As it cuts through the numerous local governments in the Senate district, the empowerment that began about a week ago can be said to be tremendously successful and today happens to be the turn of the bakassi local government region and other communities.
The congressman, represented by his Director General, Hon., delivered the tricycle to the beneficiaries in Bakassi. The empowerment was aimed at changing the attitude of young people from always expecting charity to being self-reliant, Ekpo Ada said. The DG also added that the empowerments are blueprints of the senator’s promises made during his 2019 campaign to take each local government along with them and make them enjoy quality representation dividends.
Tricycles were presented on behalf of the party to representatives of various groups in Bakassi.

2. Anansa Youth Association Ikang – Chief of Bassey Nathaniel
3. Nka Ikemesit, Obio Esighi – The President of Eyo Asuquo Edem
4. G10 – Emmanuel Edem and Emmanuel Edem
The lawmaker was praised by the leaders of the various groups for being a man of his words as he remembered his promises to his people in a time that was most needed. For the distinguished senator, they went on to pray for greater heights and good health.
Hon. Hon! Ekpo Ada advised the beneficiaries in a statement to make the most of what was presented to them. Sen. Gershom Bassey, he said, not only gives fish, but also offers hook and net and teaches his people how to catch fish.
