My Doubt For Prince Otu Is That He Might Come In And Tried To Cover Up The Mess Ayade Has Done To Cross River — Efik Man Counters ‘Back To South’ Agitation
I was thinking the same way, I am an Efik man but I get pissed off when people brings tribalism and sentiment into things like this, somebody said that he will vote prince otu because he is a philanthropist and again he is from the south and the same thing is depicted of Sen. Sandy in the central. What ever it is, we need someone who will create jobs, build good roads and invest in our health and educational systems and not philanthropists like Otu and Sandy.
My doubt for prince is that he might come in and tried to cover up the messes Ayade has done and with that he might not be able to implement anything and we might still fall back to the same Ayade era in prince otu’s government and if Sandy comes in,he might want to fight Ayade to recover everything.
This movement of back to south or back to central, what ever it is, all I know is that in the next sixteen years, both senatorial district will be in the seat of power…..let’s vote wisely.
Prince otu is my brother from the south,an Efik man,but Efiks how many are we in numerical strength compare to the central and North,I’m very sure that the central and the north will vote their brother Sandy, even Akamkpa will vote for their Ejagham man Sandy.
How many of us from the Efiks will look at the other Efik man and calls him “my brother” just like atam or hausa man will call his region man my brother instead we will rather explain to the person asking us that I am from calabar south but the other person is from Akim and the are quas, they r not Efik.
Why was back to south not brought forward when Prof Florence was to be sworn in as VC of unical….let’s meditate on this…..
