My Loyalty Is To Governor Ben Ayade — Betta Edu
“I pledge my allegiance to Sen Prof Ben Ayade and the development of Cross River State; I am committed to improving the health sector”- Dr Betta Edu
The Cross River State Chapter Chairmen’s Forum, led by Hon. Kingsley Ntui of Etung LGA, paid a courtesy visit to the honorable commissioner for health, Dr Betta Edu, to thank and commend her for her outstanding performance in the health sector, particularly during the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Chapter Chairmen praised her commitment to achieving Sen. Ben Ayade’s vision and driving the health sector, while also promising complete allegiance to the Governor, the party’s leader, and his industrialization campaign, which extends to the health sector!
“Honorable Commissioner, let me begin by thanking you on behalf of my fellow chairmen for your warm welcome and hospitality, which has once again shown your magnanimity and reverence for institutions. We’ve gathered under the auspices of the CRS PDP Chapter Chairmen’s Forum to congratulate you on all of your outstanding accomplishments in the health care sector. We cannot quickly forget your sacrifices and achievements during the COVID-19 outbreak, as our beloved State was the last to report any positive cases and had few cases in comparison to the rest of the country and other nations.
“Thousands of Cross Riverians have been enrolled in the health insurance scheme, with over 21000 individuals already vaccinated for COVID-19. Recently, you successfully pulled through with the Ayadecare, and today thousands of Cross Riverians have been enrolled in the health insurance scheme. We’ve had these and many other successes as a result of your dreams, enthusiasm, determination, hard work, and dedication. As a forum, we’re well aware of the fact that you’re one of Sen Prof Ben Ayade’s most devoted and dedicated Exco members. We thought it would be fitting to express our gratitude by bestowing an Award of Recognition on you in recognition of your excellent contributions to the growth of the CRS Ministry of Health, as well as your deep desire to make a positive impact in the health sector for the greater good of our state.”
As Chapter Chairmen, we wholeheartedly support our state’s Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade. We will collaborate with him to help him achieve his industrialization goals in all 18 LGAs.
Dr Betta Edu, the Health Commissioner, welcomed the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Kingsley Ntui, and his colleagues to her office, praising them for their commitment to Governor Ayade’s visions and industrialization drive while working hard to ensure that the party remains one big family despite minor challenges. “It’s a blessing to have such fine men and political warlords in my office who have contributed so much to the CRS PDP. I’m overjoyed to see you all today because, based on the results of this forum so far, you’ve all done exceptionally well.
“I can’t take the political influence you wield and use for the betterment of our people for granted. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your unwavering support for our dear Governor, Sen Prof Ben Ayade, despite the fact that we’re all aware of the PDP’s problems, we’re blessed with a leader/principal who cares about his people and will always put the interests of Cross Riverians ahead of personal interests. And his detractors profit directly from his generosity, demonstrating how much of a father and leader Sen Prof Ben Ayade is. He has my full support and undivided attention at all times.
“My ambition is to see the health-care system better in every way, to see those around me flourish, to put smiles on the faces of the poor and underserved, and to provide whatever assistance I can. I don’t consider myself a politician, and I have no plans to run for office. I’d like to express my gratitude to you all for the tremendous help you’ve given me, whether directly or indirectly. We must continue to help and trust Sen Prof Ben Ayade at all costs, while remaining focused and dedicated to achieving our objectives. We must all come together as one big family, as we have always been under our principal Sen Prof Ben Ayade’s leadership.
The honorable commissioner was presented with an honorary award in appreciation of her excellent contributions to the growth of CRS in the health ministry, as well as her deep zeal and enthusiasm to impact positively in the health sector for the overall benefit of our dear State.
