The Member Representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and the Chairman House of Representatives Committee on “Legislative, Budget and Research”, Rt. Hon Mike Etaba has during the Needs Assessment tour in Obubra/Etung commended his constituents for maintaining peace in the communities.

Mike Etaba who decided to use the few days of National Assembly Recess to tour round all the waring communities in his constituency and see things for himself, extended his sympathy to families who lost their family members during and after the 2019 general elections.

Frowning at how most youth had resolved to carrying laws into their hands, Etaba said there is need to look beyond party and work together for the growth of the constituency. Extending his compassion, Rt. Hon Mike Etaba also gave undisclosed cash to 27 people who were affected during or before the election saying those not captured will be captured in the second phase.
