The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has stated that it is hiring for more than 50 posts inside the organization.
On Monday, the commission issued a statement signed by senior executives announcing the hire.
Some of the positions that need to be filled include senior manager, compliance; deputy general manager, legal; principal manager, tariff and rates; assistant manager; customer complaints and manager, market analysis, and competition.

Selected individuals will work in market and competition analysis, utility rate setting, electrical engineering, consumer protection, finance and accounting, data gathering and analytics, and other departments.
Applicants are only permitted to submit one application, and any more submissions will result in disqualification.
According to NERC, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
“Applicants should note that this is a fully online application procedure, and no paper applications or CVs should be given to the commission,” according to the notice.
An online application must be submitted by July 15, 2022.
Applicants should go to careers.nerc.gov.ng and fill out the application procedures, according to the commission.
“A complete list of positions is accessible on the application portal,” it noted.
The National Energy Regulatory Commission was founded under the Electric Power Sector Reform Act (NERC).
Although the commission’s headquarters are in Abuja, it has offices all over Nigeria.
