Nicodemus Naanlong Agow Emerged SDP Candidate For Plateau South Senatorial By-election

Hon Nicodemus who was a councillor in kwande ward of Qua’anpan local government area of plateau State and presently the deputy chairman plateau State marketers association shandam local government chapter.

The primary election which was held today 7 September 2020 was colourful with SDP delegates from the 6 local government areas that made up the plateau South senatorial district. Nicodemus returned as the unopposed candidate of the party to contest for the fourth coming senatorial by-election in the state.

In his acceptance speech, Hon Nicodemus assured the citizens of the plateau South that SDP will ensure a credible representation in the Senate if given the chance.

The chairman of the electoral committee Hon Panshak John verengkat appealed on the party executives to remain strong and work as a team to achieve victory. He also appreciate the leadership of the party for the opportunity given to him and his team to serve the party in that capacity.

The state chairman of the party Hon Abubakar Dogara who double as the IPAC chairman of the state in his Goodwill massage assured the party faithfuls that SDP is strategically planning to take over not only southern zone but the state as a whole. He also intimate members that registration of new members will soon commence across the state. He further encourage plateau people to come back home to the SDP.

The primaries was fully attended and witnessed by INEC officials at the shendam youth center.
