Nigeria Is On Fire, Killings Under Buhari’s Govt Is Worse Than Civil War, Let’s Shut Down National Assembly — APC Senator Cries Out

 

 

 

Senator representing Kogi West and member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Smart Adeyemi has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, the APC over failure to secure the lives of its citizens.

Adeyemi, speaking at the Parliament, in a video clip obtained by WEE TALK NAIJA,  said the country is on fire, adding that, the Senate should shut down the National Assembly if it cannot secure the lives of Nigerians.

He said:

“It has come to a time where truth will become like a torchlight in the midst of silence. We need not run away from the fact that more than ever before from the history of our nation, this is the worse instability we are facing. In fact, this is worse than the civil war.

 

 

Continuing, he said: “We who are supporters of the APC can no longer keep quiet, Mr President must rise to the occasion. The nation is on fire. Mr president must bring in foreign support to help Nigeria fight insecurity.

 

“All of us are being threatened, our families, our nation, our states. Our children are not free, we can no longer sleep with our eyes closed. Our security system has collapsed. Every part of the country is on fire, from the North to the South, nobody is safe.

“The president must know that this a bad time for our nation, we should close the National Assembly, let’s shut down the National Assembly if we cannot safe this country, we stay in our homes, our country is bleeding. People are in poverty, there is no food, people are hungry, insecurity is threatening us. We cannot pretend, it is better we are not here than to sit down and watch our people being killed on a daily basis.
