Nigerian Breaking News!! Confusion As Chidinma Makes U-Turn, Denies Killing Super TV CEO Ataga
Michael Ataga, the CEO of Super TV, was killed, and Chidinma Ojukwu, the suspect arrested in his death, has denied killing him.
Ataga was discovered dead in Lekki, Lagos, days after checking into a flat with the suspect.
The suspect evaded capture until she was apprehended at her father’s home in Yaba, Lagos.
The 300-level University of Lagos student said she killed him when he was attempting to force himself on her when she was paraded by the police in June.
She had pleaded for pardon, stating that she did not want to die.
“I’m sorry I killed Mr. Ataga. I’m not sure what my plans are for the future, but I don’t want to die. Please, I don’t want to die as a result of this situation. I’ve never killed somebody before.”
“I completely regret and apologize for anything I did. I sincerely apologize to Mr. Ataga’s family for what I did. I would not do something like that if I had my life back. Chidinma had said at the time, “I am very sorry and I hope you forgive me.”
Chidinma, on the other hand, claimed in a viral video that she had no knowledge of Ataga’s death.
“I didn’t hurt anyone. I’m not sure who came into the apartment and did that… I have no idea who the individual is. I have no idea what happened. “I did not murder him,” the suspect stated emphatically.
