Obaseki vs Ize-Iyamu: Case Closed As Nigerian Popular Prophet Reveals Whom God Has Chosen

2 min

Two political heavyweights will be squaring off on June 22, 2020, for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming election in Edo State.

The two main contenders from the ruling party’s factions – incumbent governor Godwin Obaseki and Mr Osagie Ize-Iyamu – have both purchased nomination forms to run.

Ize-Iyamu, a former secretary to Edo state government, has been endorsed as the consensus candidate by the faction of former governor and APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, whose dispute with governor Obaseki has polarised the state chapter of the party.

As the countdown to the state primary election continues, the leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has revealed that Obaseki has been chosen by God, only if the incumbent governor would listen and not take any chances.

Prophesying on the outcome of the primary election, Ayodele said:

“Obaseki must strengthen his group, it’s going to be two candidates, if Obaseki wins, we should be expecting a court case. After the primaries, none of the candidates will agree because they want to ease Obaseki out.”

The Prophet continued: “Oshimohole will play Lagos politics to ease Obaseki out, two candidates may emerge in APC on the 22nd. Edo Will scatter APC settings, Oshiomhole is bent on the issue of Edo, he is ready for pure war, Obaseki should buckle up.

“Obaseki has a very bright stance if only he follows instruction and does all the needful if he refuses, his mission may collapse; he should not take chances,” Ayodele said.

Meanwhile, Obaseki had said he was confident that the people will reelect him. “I am not a violent person. But I am confident that the way I got into power is the same way I will return,” the governor said on Channels Television‘s Sunrise Daily.

He added:

“God gave me power. If he wants me to return I will continue. No man can stop me. Power comes from God.”

However, Ayodele says if the governor doesn’t involve God in all that he does then he might not return to power.

“There will be a lot of gimmicks and plans that will be exposed the night before the election and on the day of the election, there will be fracas, violence in the place, there will be two different election results if care isn’t taken. Obaseki should involve God in whatever he does. God wants to elect him but that is if he listens,” the prophet stated.
