Eld-El-Kabir: Mike Etaba Greets Muslims, Calls For Unity

The Member Representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mike Etaba has congratulated, the good people of Obubra/Etung constituency, Nigerians and Muslims in particular on the occasion of the 2020 Eld-El-Kabir celebration.

As the lawmaker celebrates with Muslims across the country, its equally states that a good life does not come out of nowhere. It is created by humility, patience, sacrifice and prayers, urging Nigerians to hold on to these virtues in the interest of the nation.

This is contained in a statement signed by the lawmaker in Abuja, the Federal Capital, which was made sent to Weetalknaija Daily Post on Thursday evening.

In the statement, Etaba prayed that may Nigerians’ prayers at this season enhance the life of the country forever.

While wishing Nigerian Muslims safe and happy Eld-El-Kabir, Etaba urged them to celebrate the Sallah in conformity with COVID-19 safety protocols.

According to the statement, Mike Etaba commends his constituents for their cooperation with the government so far in the attempts being made to curtail the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, in spite of all the inconveniences and hardships.

“Our prayer is that those who are sick of the pandemic will recover very soon and those who lost their loved ones will be comforted by the Almighty Allah,” Etaba said.

He further prayed that may joy and love envelop Nigerians this season. May the warm moments of the season bring peace, fulfilment, happiness and cheer into Nigerians’ life and make it brighter.

The Lawmaker urged his constituents to be more patriotic to their fathers’ land and shun any form of violence and embrace unity amongst one another.

“We must be united for the good and progress of the country,” the statement concluded.
