It was gathered that the unfortunate incident happened before Joshua’s wife returned from work.

The woman was said to have raised the alarm when she found the dangling corpse of her husband in their sitting room.

The alarm attracted neighbors, who were said to have rushed to the apartment and were shocked to see how Joshua, also known as Landlord, allegedly ended his life.

A resident of the area, who was among the first set of people to see the dangling body, said Joshua tied a rope to the roof of his sitting room and climbed on two buckets.

The resident explained that Joshua kicked the bucket after he put the rope around his neck, hanging himself in the process.

The residents of the area revealed that the deceased’s marriage had yet to produce a child and this was said to be a probable reason he decided to take his own life.

Joshua, it was further gathered, had lived in the house for many years and some of the neighbours said his childlessness was a source of concern to him.

Some traditional worshippers were reportedly invited to perform some rituals before the body of the deceased was removed and deposited in a mortuary.

Similarly, following the manhunt launched by the Nigerian police to apprehend the culprits in connection with killings at the Akinyele axis of Oyo state the suspected serial killer of the innocent victims have confessed how he was able to catch on his targets.

One of the killers, Sunday Sodipe (19 years), disclosed that a certain herbalist who he worked for, Adedokun Yinusa Ajani (50 years), was the one sending him on such assignments.

He explained that anytime he wanted to go for the operation, the herbalist would instruct him to kneel down in front of him and he (Ajani) would make some incantations and then put something on his tongue three times.

The suspected serial killer said whenever he located his victims, he would hit them with a shovel and when they laid in a pool of their blood, he would make some incantations and move around the body three times and then back it.

Sunday said he would back the body for about five minutes with his eyes closed before leaving the scene.

When asked if he was not afraid that anybody could come around while backing the body, the suspected serial killer said the herbalist had told him that nobody would come around during the period.
