Owo Catholic Church Attack: Cross River IPAC Condemn Attack, Urge Govt To Hunt Down Killers

 

The Inter Party Advisory Council, (IPAC), Cross River State chapter has urged the government to intensify the efforts to hunt down the attackers of St. Francis Xavier Church, Owo Ondo state, and bring them to book.

In a statement signed by the State Chairman on Monday, Ambassador Ogar Osim, sent to WeetalknaijaBlog, said the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Cross River State Chapter feel deeply saddened by the dastardly attack on innocent and peaceful worshippers at the St Francis Catholic Church in Ondo State.

While every death is tragic, an unprovoked attack on innocent worshippers is barbaric and condemnable. The gory details from this senseless killings further questions the sanity of those who carried out this act of cowardice and what has happened to our common humanity.

This act, like many others in the past, is the more reason the 2023 election is very important. The primary and most important responsibility of government is to guarantee security of citizen’s lives.
