Panic As AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine Killed Over 547 People, UK Sends Strong Warning To Nigerian Government
In the United Kingdom (UK), more than 24 million people have received at least one dose of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, but according to a government survey, 547 people have died as a result of the vaccine’s side effects.
The Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, an administrative agency of the United Kingdom’s Department of Health and Social Care, compiled the report.
The report’s data was collected between January 4 and February 28, 2021, and until March 9th, when the report’s review was completed.
The AstraZeneca vaccine caused 28 adverse reactions or disorders in those who received it, according to the UK study, including 1,098 cases of blood disorder, 1,922 cases of cardiac disorder, 1,217 cases of ear disorder, 2,150 cases of eye disorder, 22,336 cases of gastrointestinal disorder, and 3,839 cases of other infections.

Since a 45-year-old woman died in Austria due to blood clotting, the controversy around the AstraZeneca vaccine has grown even further. South Africa is one of the countries that has banned its use.
Despite the fact that the vaccine’s makers said the Austrian death was unrelated to the vaccine, more countries and the World Health Organization (WHO) have called for a study of the vaccine.
The Nigerian government, on the other hand, has raised public concern by claiming that it did not obtain its vaccine from the alleged batch that triggered the blood clot in Austria.
The National Primary Health Care Development Centre (NPHCDA) also announced that 8,000 people around the country have received a single dose of the vaccine.
Since the official rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 5, the NPHCDA has not received any significant adverse reactions, according to an interview with THE WHISTLER.
However, according to this website, health workers who obtained the vaccine suffered moderate muscle pain, mild fever, dizziness, and a temperature that lasted 2 to 3 hours.
