Peter Obi : We Could See A Revolution Coming In 2023— Says Northern Elders Forum

The spokesman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has said, with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, he foresee a revolution in Nigeria.


The controversial spox of NEF made this known in a statement posted on his official Twitter handle.


He also urged those who see Peter Obi as an ethnic candidate to get to know him better.

I spent valuable time with Mr Peter Obi this morning. I wish those who see him as an ethnic candidate can get to know him better. I also wish those who try to sell him will tone down his ethnic identity. I hope the nation will see the candidates up close, we could see a revolution.”

Because of the reactions his statement about Peter Obi generated, Baba said the opinion expressed in the twit was solely his and does not represent the position of the Northern Elders Forum.


Baba, however urged Nigerians to vote wisely.


“My tweet about PO, his following and other candidates has generated much imterest. It is my personsl opinion by which I stand. It is not opinion of Northern Elders Forum.”


“I did not ask you to vote for him. Vote who you want. Vote wisely. Because we need an end to insecurity, poverty and hatred.Because our children need assured future,education and skills.Because all of us will lose if we do not get it right in 2023.’Cos you cant vote in next life.”
